If my role develops into a paid position and i am granted a title (such as level 2 or 3 electrical engineer) it would allow me to progress my career to just as far as i can take it. As a position at western power is already a perfect opportunity, but the skills developed, recommendations i can use and title in my resume allow me to achieve a higher and more fulfilling role within or outside this company.

With the implementation of the new engineer career path the way forward feels a lot clearer, first by having at least 2 years of experience as an engineer with you have the relevant skills you can move up to being a experienced engineer from there given time and the opining of positions you can move to senior engineer, than a lead engineer, than a team leader and finally a principal engineer.
If you are fully capable and meets all requirements of the job, there is big chance of getting promotion in western power. Yes, they do help a lot with upskilling and educating through trainings which are really essential for aspiring project manager.
