training method is throw you in the deep end, just do it and learn as you go. hence, difficult for many to achieve store manager in one year.
I've been exposed to great learning and training opportunities, performance feedback is regular, however at times overwhelming, and coaching/mentoring is available but not always offered in depth, must be asked for.
There is training sessions for every new role you step into. Some in person some online. Skills picked up are overall skills specifically for the job but also things like HR management, inventory, PNL assessments. Coaching and mentoring is a common with direct line manger's as your mentors
The trainings themselves have been very detailed and well thought out. There are still areas that can be improved but it has definitely improved from a few batches of UMCs from before me.
