Accessibility is role dependent as some managers may be located at a different office/state/country or might be too busy to respond. They can make good mentors when they have the time and handle performance feedback, praise and recognition well.
Managers are accessible, but some are not great with communication or timely completion of tasks for other departments. Recognition for achievements is good.
