From what I've seen as a graduate, there seems to be a lot of opportunity for employees to move around to different roles that may or may not be related to the previous role. This can help achieve certain career aspirations.
My employer encourages non-linear career progression, moving to different roles and learning new skills without past experience. However, plenty of linear options available too. Often, these will be opportunities to move cities and/or countries. Options in my current location may be more limited.
