I get a range of work from research, drafting, calls and attending BD or court. Overall, the exposure has been great.
As a law graduate, I do a mixture of legal and administrative work on a day-to-day basis. This could involve a wide range of tasks from creating indexes, printing, auditing email files, looking for documents, preparing briefs and organising filing systems, proofreading documents, making deliveries to court and to barristers' chambers and preparing for court. The legal aspect of work would involve drafting letters and documents for court, legal research and creating memorandums, assisting with preparing evidence, attending hearings, taking file notes, reviewing and analysing documents and discovery.
The matters we work on are meaningful. Sometimes we do administrative tasks that do not develop our skills.
I love my role and the work I am given in my team.
