I started in the company as an intern. I didn't hear a lot about Microsoft jobs and wasn't fully aware of their programs. This lead to a little bit of confusion when applying for jobs, and deciding which part of the business I wanted to work for. There needed to be more visibility into the organisation. The actual hiring process was good, there was far more emphasis on "you as a person" and not a mark on a piece of paper.
It was first online, then we had a full day of interviews. This full day included group assessment, panel interviews and 1:1 interview with hiring manager.
