I would say for a company that sells consumer products, L'Oreal is without a doubt a leader in the market, if not THE leader. We have a lot of initiatives such as carbon neutral sites, recycling plastics, product packaging recycling, reducing plastic on products, refillable products, there are bee hives at the distribution centre, so many things. Internally we have a sustainability lead who doesn't approve any activity that is not sustainable, even down to same day delivery restrictions. L'Oreal ackowledges their impacts and tries to minimise impacts wherever they can, even down to shipping product by boat rather than using air freight.
We have many sustainability efforts that the whole company is often encouraged to participate in at least twice a year.
