raising POs, processing orders, online PDP updates for retailers, product forms, partnership briefs, activation briefs
My tasks include a level of responsibility, my daily tasks aren't always the same as new information becomes available, and working with the relevant teams to achieve set standards and outcomes are prioritised accordingly.
As a grad I thought I would be doing pretty minimal things, just helping out the team on basic tasks like ordering stock in, doing PR send outs, whatever it is. It is actually not like that at all. Yes we do those things, but we are given so many opportunities to jump in and contribute straight away. These include presenting to customers, leading campaigns, deciding on launches locally, creating holiday gift sets - you really can do whatever you want within reason, and management will encourage you to push outside of your comfort zone and grow.
As someone who is only just starting their career I am given many tasks helpful in building my foundational skills and participate in exciting and 'meatier' projects as these skills are fortified. Even if I do not necessarily get to participate in the execution of the task, I am often able to at least experience the end result or review it's execution as to give me more exposure and fuel my motivation to continue building my skills.
