Upgrading proprietary software applications. Coordinating with internal Honeywell teams and external customers to resolve issues and meet customer needs. Estimating costs to upgrade applications. Creating upgrade plans, cut over strategies, and rollback. Troubleshoot software, OS, network, and hardware related issues.
The work is engaging and a lot of context to learn. We are required to learn about our own technologies but also of the functions that our process systems are being used.
It varies day to day which I personally really enjoy. Some days I’m with my team on site, others I’m in the office doing computer work. I am able to work from home but I choose to work in the office instead
