The pay wasn't that good at first but after our new ea agreement update we are now matched in wages the same as the engineer graduates which makes cost of living more easier to live in.

Pay is now very competitive after the enterprise agreement. The additional 5% super is probably the best benefit long term.
Good base package. Travel costs well compensated. Overtime compensated.
My pay is quite generous as far as I am concerned with a very nice award backing it up. Perks are fairly standard although leave policies are quite generous and there are allowances for health benefits such as new shoes yearly as needed.
