People are really nice to talk to. And you can learn a lot from everyone that works there.
The work culture is kind, professional, and friendly. Everyone is more than happy to help each other out even if they are on different teams from my experience. People hold each other accountable and make sure we do the best we can. Sometimes we will have dinner after work to catch up with the cohort, it feels like a nice friendly community, I'd say there's definitely a bond between everyone now as most of the cohort shows up to these social events outside of work. For the engineering team specifically, my team has been extremally nurturing, providing a path for me to follow in order to upskill myself and become more technically sound whilst also building on my soft skills. The senior software engineer on my team has been such a great mentor, giving insights on different development topics, networking, AI and anything related to technology.
Not much of one. Nobody comes in, so nobody socialises
The workplace culture at the Sydney office is inclusive, collaborative, and supportive, both during office hours and beyond. The structure is professional yet approachable, with clear lines of reporting like having a direct manager and a skip manager but the hierarchy doesn't feel rigid. Teamwork is highly valued, and colleagues are always willing to lend a hand or share knowledge, which creates a strong sense of cooperation. Socializing is encouraged, whether it's casual chats over coffee from the in house barista or team events after hours, which help build camaraderie and make the workplace feel more connected and enjoyable.
